Gold nuggets are ancient, rare and exceptionally beautiful. Many factors play into how much a particular gold nugget might be worth. Of course, size plays a big part but for more reasons than you might think. Obviously, the larger the nugget is, the higher the gold content is in most cases and with more gold comes more dollars. Also, one has to consider that larger nuggets are rarer than smaller nuggets, so the gemstone factor plays in more prominently as the nuggets get larger. Keep in mind that you will pay higher premiums for these nuggets while smaller nuggets and fine gold will sell much closer to the spot price of gold.
