GPX4500 RecallĀ

That’s right, no surprise really, it’s time for a new Minelab gold detector. NQ Miners Den, a dealer in Australia, has let the cat out of the bag. See this page: Minelab GPX450

Check out our features review here!: GPX 4500

It’s set to release on April 7th 2008 and will be priced at AUD $6150 Australian ( USD $5700 or thereabouts). Because of the fluctuating USD, it’s been theorized that the AUD price may have little to do with the US price point. $4995 and also $5500 have been suggested. Only time will tell.

Features include new stabilisation technology, more timing options and imroved discrimination circuitry.

I love it when this happens. It lowers the street value on previously released units. They start popping up on Ebay at cut rate prices and gives the budget minded prospector more and more options! A few are even now showing up and one of the used units is priced pretty good and by a regular forum user.

I can’t wait for the Minelab GPX-4500! Join the discussion here.
