HA HA. I've dug some really interesting targets out of or right next to dig holes. Passing a coil over a Bates boot track is another technique. lol. It's good to keep an eye out for the more subtle handstacks and drywash workings though. In this particular spot, there were two header piles and one small handstack and that was it. Even though it was a big wash there were no other workings and the ones there were were small. Probably just a good solid test from the 30's or something.
