Well said Eric, sometimes the "WHY?" can become the "What if?" and we can spend too much time wrapped up in something we can't live over again. Regrets never come easy even though there is nothing you can do to make them change, we still fill ourselves with regret and sometimes guilt. I'm a Retired Army Disabled Vietnam Vet and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't wish there was something I could do over there to help prevent the loss of even one life, but I know in my heart that I would only slow them down and possibly make things worse. I'm very sorry for your loss and the loss to so many other families that have paid the Supreme Sacrifice but like you I stand behind our women and men in our armed forces. Not so much the politicians that make the decisions but very definitely our Brethren in Arms. Sincerely~desertratdan
